Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! We are a family run tourist standard hotel (One star) in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. Thamel is in Kathmandu down town, and is famous for Tourist accommodation in Kathmandu and now a must tourist destination in Kathmandu. We are in the quieter neighborhood of Thamel. The hotel has two buildings with various size cozy rooms, suite rooms, Spacious Lounge, Restaurant, Terrace garden between two buildings, Car parking, etc. All rooms have attached bath room and rooms are fitted with one emergency back up light. We are now rennovating and upgrading the hotel facilities. We are also adding a few more rooms including one Cottage room on the roof top of main building. The cottage will have a private garden with panaromic view of Himalayas. We offer Standard rooms with or with out air-conditition, Deluxe rooms, and suite rooms. The basic tariff starts from US$ 15.00. For a confirmed reservation we pick you up at any hour of the day and provide airport/hotel transfer in a car @ US$ 6.00 per person.

 

We are registered as Hotel Impala Pvt. Ltd in the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Nepal. We are an active member of Hotel Association of Nepal since 1997. We are categorised as one star hotel in Kathmandu. We are sister concern of Adarsha Nepal Adventure Tours and Travels P. Ltd. The hotel is located at quiet area of Thamel, a suburb of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. It is a famous International Tourist Residence area and is also a prime destination in Kathmandu to those tourists who do not stay Thamel.

 

Hotel Impala is a 5 minute drive from Bus Park (Ring Road) and 20 minute drive from Tribhuvan International Airport to the Hotel Impala.

 

A five to ten minutes walking distance from the Hotel includes former Royal Palace (now museum), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Shopping markets, Casinos, etc. Moreover in Thamel you find numerous restaurants and eating places, cyber cafes, souvenir shops, supermarkets, airline offices, banks, ATMs, and night-clubs, etc.
